Girls Track Sweeps Field Events; Wins at Tosa East
Powered by a victory in all six field events and a solid performance on the track also, the girls track & field team won the Red Raider Triangular (which became a five-team meet) at Hart Park on Thursday night.
The Vikings boasted two double winners in the field: Malia Lee captured both the shot put and the discus throw, and Jaiah Hopf won both the triple jump and the long jump (besting her own school record in the long jump with a leap of 19-1.5). In addition, Kayla Wigley won the high jump and Allie Orlowski was the pole vault champ.
On the track, Alyssa Ebeling narrowly pulled out a victory in the 800 and Eva Kuehn won the 3200 with a time that places her 5th in school history.
