Soccer Bounces Back With Road Victory
The Wisco girls soccer team proved to be resilient on Monday night, following up their first loss of the season with a 2-0 road victory over South Milwaukee.
After a slow start, Erin Zerbe's found the net off of Mia Butler's assist in the 24th minute to give the Vikings a 1-0 lead. Grace Becker scored midway through the second half off an assist from Amy Rosado to provide some insurance. Madelyn Reneau stepped in at keeper and had nine saves on the night.
Wisco hosts Cudahy/St. Francis on Wednesday, May 19, at 6:30 PM.
