Girls Track Wins Greendale Invite

Powered by wins in eight different events, the girls track team took advantage of the nice weather and handily won the Greendale Quadrangular (which turned into a six-team invitational) on Wednesday night.

Kayla Williams was a double winner, bringing home victories in both the shot put and discus throw. Kayla Wigley also won a pair of events, clearing 5-1 to win the high jump and teaming up with Deanna Campbell, Myla Ellis, and Jaiah Hopf to win the 4x100 relay.

Other winners included Audreyanna Scott (100 hurdles), Allie Orlowski (pole vault), Ellis (long jump), and Campbell, Hopf, Bella Backus, and Koto Imahori in the 4x200 relay. Full results are available here.

The girls host the Carleton Sitz Invitational at WLHS on Saturday, May 22. They will compete in the morning session, which begins at 9:30 AM.
