Golf Rallies to Finish Fifth at Conference Tournament

After falling into 7th place following the first nine holes of the Woodland Conference Tournament, the Wisco golf team rallied over the final 18 holes to jump up to 5th place in the final standings. Senior Sam Olson led the charge for the team. He fired an 81 overall and a 39 on the back nine to finish in 9th place individually and earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team. The honor capped a solid final season for Olson, who earned First Team All-Conference honors in Woodland West play. The Wisco scoring was rounded out by Tim Valerio (97), Nathan Riel (100), and Bryce Frey (103). The team competes at Wanaki Golf Course in the WIAA Regionals on June 1.
