Errors Prove Costly Versus Central

The West Allis Central Bulldogs pulled away from the Wisco softball team on Tuesday afternoon, scoring five times in the 5th inning to break open a tight game and win 8-1 at Rainbow Park. Four errors proved costly to the Vikings' efforts, as only one of Central's eight runs was earned.

After the Bulldogs pushed across an unearned run in the top of the 2nd, Emily Buch had the answer for Wisco, doubling in Tabitha Fromm to tie the game. But offense would be hard to come by for the Vikings after that - the team managed just two hits the rest of the way. Meanwhile two errors and two home runs helped Central blow the game open with a five-run 5th.

The Vikings will look to bounce back on Wednesday, when they host Cudahy at Rainbow Park.
