After being held to just one run and one hit on Thursday, the Wisco bats returned in force on Friday, as the Viking softball team pounded Milwaukee Lutheran by a score of 17-3 in five innings.
Emily Buch led the team with a strong showing at the plate and in the circle. She went 2-2 with a pair of triples and 4 RBI, along with 2 walks and 4 runs scored. She also fired 3 innings of no-hit ball, striking out 8 against just 1 walk.
Madison Reid also drove in 4 runs and Tabitha Fromm plated three. Kaliska Klusmeyer got experience in the circle and struck out 3 batters over the final 2 innings.
The Vikings close out the regular season on Monday when they travel to Brown Deer for a 4:30 PM game.
