Vikings Take Game One
On a sweltering June day, the Vikings captured the first game of a twinbill at Shoreland Lutheran, downing the Pacers by a score of 10-4.
Wisco took advantage of six Shoreland errors to score eight unearned runs. Tyler Danko and Lucas Oswald collected two RBI apiece to lead the team. Carlos Walta was a threat on the basepaths; the junior stole three bases and scored three times.
Danko started the game and gave up no earned runs while striking out five in three innings pitched. Jake Ross picked up the win in relief with four solid innings.
