Girls Track Wins Conference Championship

The girls track & field team continued its dominance of the Woodland Conference with a victory at the Woodland West Outdoor Championship at WLHS on Tuesday night. The Vikings have won all eight Woodland championship meets since joining the conference in 2018.

The team won five events and placed someone in the top three in 12 events to easily outpace runner-up New Berlin West, 185-144.

A number of Vikings earned all-conference honors by placing in the top three of their event:

  • Deanna Campbell--2nd--100 Dash
  • Koto Imahori--2nd--300 Hurdles
  • Emily Harders--2nd--Pole Vault
  • Malia Lee--2nd--Shot Put
  • Malia Lee--2nd--Discus
  • Deanna Campbell, Natalie Jones, Myla Ellis, and Jayla Rankin--2nd--400 Relay
  • Myla Ellis--3rd--100 Dash
  • Kayla Wigley--3rd--High Jump
  • Myla Ellis--3rd--Long Jump
  • Kayla Williams--3rd--Shot Put
  • Kayla Williams--3rd--Discus
