Girls Track Qualifies a Host for Sectionals

The girls track team took its first step towards the state meet, placing nearly half of its entries among the top four at Monday's regional. Thirteen individuals and two relays qualified for Thursday's sectional championship:

• 3200 Relay--Alyssa Ebeling, Sarah Bitter, Grace Daley, Annabelle Nault (Eva Kuehn and Kirstin Neuwirth alt.)
• 100 Dash--Deanna Campbell
• 1600 Run--Eva Kuehn
• 800 Relay--Deanna Campbell, Koto Imahori, Bella Backus, Jaiah Hopf (Myla Ellis and Emma Johnson alt.)
• 200 Dash--Bella Backus
• 3200 Run--Eva Kuehn
• Shot Put--Malia Lee
• Discus--Kayla Williams and Malia Lee
• Long Jump--Jaiah Hopf
• Triple Jump--Jaiah Hopf
• Pole Vault--Allie Orlowski and Bella Backus
• High Jump--Kayla Wigley and Reagan Godager

The team placed third overall. Full results are available here. The sectional meet (in which the top 3 finishers qualify for the state championship) is Thursday at West Allis Hale. Events get underway at 4:00 PM.
