Volleyball Places Fourth at Crusader Cup
The Wisco volleyball team opened the season with a solid showing at the Crusader Cup. The team went undefeated in initial pool play to advance to the gold pool. A victory and a pair of defeats there placed them fourth overall.
The team defeated Martin Luther, Resurrection Prep (IL), New Berlin West, and West Bend East, before falling to Brookfield East and Franklin.
Hannah Trotter served up 12 aces on the day. She was closely followed by Ryleigh Zeller (11) and Chloe Campbell (10). Kayla Wigley paced the team with 47 kills. Campbell had nine blocks, followed by Lilia Kasten with five. Kati Goba led with 64 digs, while Trotter and Kasten had 52 and 42 assists, respectively.
Wisco hosts West Allis Central on Thursday, September 2.
