Boys XC Places 3rd in Strong Betz Invitational
The boys cross country put forward a strong showing in their season opener on Friday night, placing 3rd of 19 complete teams in the Leighton Betz Invitational at Greenfield Park.
Silas Ebeling paced the team by covering the 5,000-meter course in 16:20.1, good for 7th place in the field of 119 runners. Michael Miller also earned a medal; his time of 17:00.3 placed in 19th. Nick Wendl (17:28), Jacob Alejandro (17:31), and Joey Merrill (17:38) rounded out the scoring for the Vikings.
