Volleyball Moves to 2-0 in Conference
The Wisco volleyball team continued its winning ways, running its overall record to 11-2 and improving to 2-0 in Woodland Conference play with a victory at Pius XI on Tuesday night.
The Vikings claimed the first set 25-23 before the Lady Popes turned the tables and won the second set by the same score. But Wisco ran off victories in the third and fourth sets by scores of 25-19 and 25-20 to earn the victory.
Hannah Trotter served up five aces and had 23 assists. Kayla Wigley led the team with 19 kills, Chloe Campbell had 3 blocks and Kati Goba had 26 digs.
The Vikings host defending conference champion Pewaukee on Thursday, September 9.
