The Wisco volleyball team regained its momentum just in time to capture the deciding fifth set and win a crucial Woodland Conference match over visiting Pewaukee on Thursday night.
The Vikings won the first two sets 25-17 and 25-23 only to see Pewaukee rally to take the next two sets 25-20 and 25-23. But Wisco seized momentum back early in the final set en route to a 15-8 victory.
Kati Goba led the team with 6 aces and 28 digs. Kayla Wigley and Hannah Trotter led the attack with 21 kills and 22 assists, respectively. Chloe Campbell paced the defense with 7 blocks.
The team travels to Jackson to compete in the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Classic on Saturday, September 11.
