Wendl Leads Girls XC at Parkside
The girls cross country team placed 13th of 32 teams (21 complete) at the Angel Invitational on Saturday.
The team was led by freshman Makayla Wendl, who covered the 5,000-meter UW-Parkside course in 21:54.4, good for 42nd place in a field of 160 runners.
Kirstin Neuwirth (62nd, 22:31), Annabelle Nault (65th, 22:37), Jenna Goelz (83rd, 23:14), and Ava Biesterfeld (101st, 23:55) rounded out the top 5 for the team. Full results are available here.
