Vikings Overpower West

The Wisco basketball team wasted no time in moving to 1-0 in Woodland West Conference play, jumping all over visiting New Berlin West on Friday by a score of 88-28.

The Vikings scored the game's first 25 points, as West was only able to get one shot off in their first nine possessions. Meanwhile Wisco feasted at the other end, connecting on 10 of their first 13 shots and scoring on nine straight possessions to start the game.

Jordan Glenn scored all 20 of his points before halftime to help the Vikings take a 47-19 lead into the locker room. He added 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Kon Knueppel scored 15 points, grabbed five boards, came up with four steals, and handed out three assists. Alex Hernandez scored a season-high 14 points to go along with five rebounds, and Jamiir Allen led the team with five steals and five assists to go along with eight points. The team forced 35 West turnovers and outrebounded the visitors 52-28.
