One-Hitter Helps Vikings Down Lions
The Wisco softball team improved to 9-2 on the season with a 4-1 victory over New Berlin Eisenhower Thursday afternoon at Rainbow Park. Sydney Vitangcol fired a one-hitter and the offense produced enough runs to claim the victory.
Vitangcol struck out 15 Lions and set down the first 12 batters she faced before allowing a single in the 5th. She also drove in two runs, one on an RBI groundout in the 3rd and one on a double in the 5th. Chloe Koschnitzke followed up with an RBI each time; a run-scoring groundout in the 3rd and a single in the 5th.
The Vikings host Whitnall at Rainbow Park on Monday.
