Greendale Downs Vikings
Conference-leading Greendale defeated Wisco on the baseball diamond for the second consecutive day. The Panthers knocked off the Vikings 6-2 at GHS.
The Vikings led in the early going. Ryder Derouin's sac fly in the 1st put them up 1-0, and after Greendale tied the game in the 3rd, Carlos Walta tripled in Will Hotchkiss to make it 2-1 Wisco. But the Panthers' pitching held the Vikings in check after that, and the offense forged ahead for good on an unearned run in the bottom of the 4th.
Wisco will resume their game with Pius XI that was suspended due to rain back on April 13. Play will pick up approximately 6 PM on May 12 at Rainbow Park with the Vikings leading 3-1 in the second inning.
