Students Selected for 2023 WELS National Band Fest
WELS Regional Band Fest gathers the top musicians from WELS Lutheran High Schools in our region, for a weekend of mutually-edifying performance with their peers. To be selected is a distinct honor. Wisco is sending 12 students this year to the 2023 WELS National Band Fest at Luther High School, in Onalaska, Wis. on March 17-19.
Our Wisco students include - Oboe: Evi Uttech ('24), Clarinet: Emily Wendorf ('24), Trumpet: McKenna Friske ('23), Natalie Hatzung ('23) and Victor Margulius ('23), French Horn: John Handeland ('23) and Mac Mundt ('24), Trombone: Tommy Doerr ('25) and Isaiah Harris ('25), Euphonium: Noah Gruetzmacher ('23), Tuba: Madison Grass ('24), and Percussion: Annabelle Nault ('24)
A culminating Festival Concert will be performed on Sunday, March 19, at 2:00 p.m. (CST). The concert will also be livestreamed. Click here for more information.
