Frank Quan-Pham ('24) Achieves Perfect 36 ACT

Those who know junior Gia An “Frank” Quan-Pham can verify that he is arguably the most active student at Wisconsin Lutheran High School. Keep reading for proof. What some may not know is that Frank is also an academic high achiever. Confirmation of that came recently when he learned that he had achieved a perfect 36 score on the ACT.  "It was actually the day of the Spring Band Concert," Frank says. "We had just finished a last rehearsal before the start of the concert, and I went back to the [Honey Creek] dorms when I saw the E-mail saying I had a perfect score." Vietnam is Frank’s country of origin, and he gives much credit to his English classes at WLHS for helping him write a perfect score.
Frank looks forward to his senior year when he plans to take a variety of AP classes and continue to participate in his signature wide range of co-curriculars:  Viking Steel, jazz and percussion ensembles, Inspiration Vocal and Chamber Choir, editorial positions on both Pilot and Compass (school newspaper and yearbook), Wisco Witnesses in the World, Viking Christian Leader Academy, Tech Team, drama productions, Page Turners (book club), and the Future Business Leaders of America. Are you surprised he also has his sights set on a run for student council president in 2023-24?

Frank knows he has been blessed and wants to give back. After receiving tutoring help from Schoolhouse.world, Frank is now a tutor for that program. “As I consider my future, using my skills to help others will guide my decision. I’m looking at teaching, engineering, finance, and journalism.” We wish Frank God’s richest blessings on his senior year and beyond.

Frank is now the sixth WLHS student in six years to achieve the highest possible ACT score.
