Soccer Splits a Pair at KML
The boys soccer team split two games at the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Tournament on Saturday, dropping a 2-1 decision to the host Chargers and drawing with Winnebago Lutheran Academy (but winning the ensuing shootout).
Seth Boese carried the scoring load for the Vikings. He scored their lone goal against KML in the opening round. He was the only Viking to score in regulation against WLA in the second round - the two teams went into a shootout knotted at 1 apiece.
Wisco didn't miss in the shootout. Greg Brisolara, Ethen Nass, Andrew Polzin, and Evan Swiontek all found the back of the net before Boese came through once more, scoring on the final attempt of the shootout to secure the 5-4 victory for the Vikings.
