The WLHS Residential Program enjoyed its annual Labor Day Weekend Camping Trip, a perfect opportunity to deepen friendships and soak in the beautiful late-summer Wisconsin weather.
Dormitory and homestay students, along with dorm supervisors and staff, traveled to a camp located two hours north of Milwaukee for an overnight adventure.
Students were split into groups for a variety of fun team-building competitions. They also had several chances to choose from outdoor activities such as sports, archery, swimming, boating, or simply relaxing and enjoying each other’s company.
Mr. Rimpel led an evening campfire devotion, while Mr. Carter led a morning outdoor worship service.
The students stayed overnight in comfortable, modern cabins and enjoyed delicious meals prepared by the camp staff.
This annual camp trip creates lasting memories and helps students deepen their connections, setting a positive tone for a successful school year at WLHS.
