The boys basketball team rode a strong second half to a 68-63 triumph over Wauwatosa East in a WIAA Regional Semifinal at WLHS on Friday night. Quincy Minor and Brunard Williams scored 22 and 21 points, respectively, to lead the Vikings to victory.
The boys basketball team finished off its final game before the playoffs with a season-high 77 points in a 77-62 win over Milwaukee Lutheran. Brunard Williams scored 21 points, Quincy Minor scored 20, and Jachon Bivens-Crowder added 18 for the Vikings.
The boys basketball team bounced back from a loss at Brown Deer to claim the second of back-to-back games, winning at Oak Creek 75-58. The 75 points matched a season-high for the Vikings, who shot 57%.
The boys' basketball team overcame an eight-point halftime deficit and a one-point deficit with under a minute to play to defeat New Berlin West, 66-63 on the road, capping a season sweep of their Woodland Conference foe.
