Nevaeh is from Milwaukee. She attended grade school at Shining Star Christian School and is a member at Evolve Church, both in Milwaukee.
Nevaeh was nominated for the Viking Christian Leader award for showing gratitude to her friends by loving and caring for them. She is known for her genuine consideration even for people she isn’t well acquainted with. Others describe her as optimistic, attentive, and cheerful, always being willing to listen to others and help those in need.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Nevaeh has participated in the dance, cheer, and step teams. She has been a member of WWW, VLCA, Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, NHS, Student Council, and Kindness Crew, and she has participated in the 30 Book Challenge and Tech Team.
Nevaeh is involved in evangelism, helping with young children, and the Winter Retreat at her church, and she’ll soon be participating in praise dancing. She enjoys inviting other teens to church.
In her spare time, she loves dancing, hanging out with family, reading, being outside, taking pictures, doodling, smiling, and laughing.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Nevaeh is planning to attend college to become an athletic trainer.
Nevaeh characterizes gratitude in Christian leadership as looking inside your heart, appreciating the things not very many people have, remembering the grace we receive each day from our wonderful Father, and smiling when it’s hard. In her words, “Why should we fear when we know our protector?”
Lincoln is from Waukesha. He attended Christ the Lord for grade school, where he is also a member.
Lincoln was nominated for the Viking Christian Leader award for his leadership in WLHS music ensembles, Viking Steel, bands, and chapel, and he leads devotions for the morning praise group. He is known for doing all things with joy in his heart and paying it forward so others have as great of an experience as he’s had.
Currently a junior at Wisco, Lincoln has participated in track, band, percussion and jazz ensembles, Viking Steel, choir, Wisco Kids, and the spring musical. He’s also been a member of WWW, VCLA, NHS, Hope Squad, Morning Praise, and student Bible studies, and he has attended the Civil Rights Tour.
At his church, Lincoln has played music for services and helped with VBS. He also volunteers at Camp Phillip and helps counsel others.
In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and family and using his talents to make music and praise God.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Lincoln is considering MLC for the Ministry, or the National Guard to follow in his sister Natalie’s footsteps. He is confident that God will guide him in the right direction and will trust God’s plan.
Lincoln characterizes gratitude in Christian leadership as knowing what God has done for us and never forgetting to share that with others, reflecting and magnifying Christ’s love in all that we do.
