Anaya is from Milwaukee. She attended grade school at Mount Olive Christian Day School and is a member at St. Paul Church of the First Born in Milwaukee.
Anaya was nominated for the Viking Christian Leader for her servant mindset, notable consideration towards others, outstanding attitude, and exemplary character. Anaya uses her talents to show her love for her Savior and has a positive attitude in all she does. She does so many things well, but is very humble about it and always shows kindness to others.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Anaya has participated in Woodwind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, band, choir, the musical and play productions, and ITS. She is a member of FBLA, NHS, WWW, forensics, and The Pilot. Anaya has also gone on the Civil Rights Tour and was part of the Chick Fil A Leadership Academy.
Anaya is a volunteer with the Salvation Army, helping in the Family Store and with the Christmas meal.
In her spare time, she enjoys singing, watching Marvel Movies, reading, babysitting, and rollerskating.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Anaya is planning to attend Marquette University, majoring in philosophy with plans to attend law school and become a criminal defense attorney.
Anaya characterizes humility in Christian leadership as appreciating others and their impact on your own success while maintaining a solid focus on the fact that God put you where you are, never doubting that you can achieve everything in His will because you are His child.
Philip is from Blantyre, Malawi. He attended St. Andrew International High School in Malawi and is a member of Amazing Hope Christian Church. He worships at Victory of the Lamb in Franklin during the school year.
Philip was nominated for the Viking Christian Leader award for his servant mindset, consideration towards others, individual achievement, and commitment to excellence. Philip is reliable and considerate of others, always there to help friends and make others feel included. He is humble about his accomplishments in soccer, giving all the glory to God. He is eager to share about his faith and teach others how to stay connected to Jesus.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Philip plays on the varsity soccer team and is a captain.
Philip helps with U7 soccer at Polonia Soccer Club, and volunteers at his church in Malawi as an usher.
In his spare time, he enjoys practicing and watching soccer, watching movies, talking with friends, eating snacks, and learning about different cultures in the dorm.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Philip is undecided about his plans, but is looking at options in South Carolina to study finance.
