Viking Christian Leader: Faith
Congratulations to Peter Hahm ('21) and Sydney Nath ('20) who were selected as Viking Christian Leaders for the month of May under “The Wisco Way Word": Faith. We thank God for the way Peter and Sydney have modeled Christian faith at school and in the community. Any student or staff member may nominate a student for the Viking Christian Leadership Award which is presented each month to one young man and one young woman.
Peter is from Hartland, Wis. He is a member at Zion Lutheran Church in Hartland and also attended Zion Lutheran Grade School.
Currently a junior at Wisco, Peter has participated in Golf (9) and been on the Tech Team (9-11), Robotics (9-10), Photo Club (9-10), and Pilot (11).

Peter volunteers at his church by assisting with door hanging outreach, Family Fun Fair, Christian Theater Camp, ushering, and being in youth group.

For fun, Peter enjoys computer programming, video & photo editing, music, meme-making, and gaming.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Peter plans to attend University of Wisconsin-Madison for a degree in Computer Science.
Peter characterizes faith in Christian leadership as someone who always considers, when possible, to bring their faith into any and every situation. This faith is a surefire trust in God as their Enlightener, Savior, and Protector.

Sydney is from South Milwaukee, Wis. She is a member at Centennial Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee and attended Word of Life Lutheran School in Milwaukee.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Sydney has participated in cheerleading (9-11), been in band (9-12), Prism (9-11), and also WWW (10-12), Art Club (12), Culture Club (12), and an Office Runner (12).
Sydney volunteers at her church assisting with Christmas for Kids, Easter for Kids, HOPE Puppet Team, Worship Screens, Soup Kitchen, and as a Junior Youth Leader.
For fun, Sydney enjoys babysitting, tumbling, spending quality time with friends and family, and mini-golfing.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Sydney is attending Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minn., for Special Education and Early Childhood Education.
Sydney characterizes humility in Christian Leadership as someone who encourages their friends and family to stay close to God and stay in His word. They may also show their faith through their actions and others will see that and realize “wow what makes that person so special?” Let Jesus shine through you, in all you do!
