Jackson is from Germantown. He attended grade school at St. John’s Milwaukee and is a member at Christ-St. Peter in Milwaukee.
Jackson was nominated for the Viking Christian Leader for his attention, care, and leadership inside the classroom and out. His leadership is displayed in everything he does, but especially marching band, and NHS where he has taken on extra responsibilities. Jackson is a good listener and gives thoughtful advice when asked. Jackson is a good influence to those around him and magnifies Christ through his actions, displaying his faith in whatever he’s doing. He is trusted by those around him and shows genuine love and concern for his classmates and friends.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Jackson has participated in Viking Claybreakers, marching band, woodwind ensemble, jazz and concert bands, and Viking Steel. He has been a member of VCLA and is currently involved in NHS and forensics. He will be going to Thailand this summer on a mission trip.
Jackson has volunteered at his church by serving on the tech team and running the livestream.
In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music, calling friends, hiking, and playing games.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Jackson is planning to attend Wisconsin Luther College to study Business and Chemistry.
Jackson characterizes wisdom in Christian leadership as something separate from just being smart. Wisdom is the ability to convey what Christ does for you, and has done for you. And then living that out in what you do and say.
Hannah is from New Berlin. She attended grade school at Christ the King in Palm Coast, Florida and is a member at Star of Bethlehem in New Berlin.
Hannah was nominated for the Viking Christian Leader award for her servant heart and mindset, and notable consideration towards others. Her Christ-like leadership is displayed through exemplary character and wisdom inside the classroom, on the court, and in the halls. She is God-fearing and wise in both individual achievements and through the many activities she participates in.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Hannah has participated in volleyball, track and field, basketball, choir, art club, math track, Wisco Witnesses in the World, Hope Squad, student council, NHS, VCLA, Pageturners, and the 30-book challenge. She has also gone on several Wisco mission trips.
Hannah has volunteered at her church by teaching Sunday school, singing in church, and helping with Christmas for Kids and summer camps.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing volleyball, baking, calligraphy, and watching movies.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Hannah is planning on attending Martin Luther College for Elementary Education.
Hannah characterizes wisdom in Christian leadership as applying knowledge of Christ to help lead those around her with integrity and truth.
