  • WLHS Trades Fair - January 21, 2026 from 6-7:30 PM

    The WLHS Trades Fair will be held on Wednesday January 21 from 6-7:30 PM, in the atrium. Individuals from local companies will meet with students to help them learn and explore potential career pathways. Any student in grades 6-12 is invited to attend and meet with WLHS staff in Student Services and our Trade, Technology, and Engineering Departments.

  • Viking-2-Viking: Finance

    WLHS kicked off this year's Viking-2-Viking career series with a session focused on finance. This program brings together WLHS alumni and current juniors and seniors to explore life after graduation, discover career paths, and learn what it means to be productive, Christ-centered professionals. Alumni Luke Melms ('07), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and founder of Firm Foundation Family Wealth, and Matthew Ryshke ('07), Senior Financial Analyst at Medica, returned to campus to share real-world insight with juniors and seniors.

  • Coach Baacke Reaches Major Milestone

    Congratulations to Head Coach Dave Baacke ('84) on achieving his 300th career win with Wisco varsity volleyball! His very next victory, number 301, made him the all-time leader in coaching wins for Wisco Volleyball. Coach Baacke, who has led the program since 2014, now holds 307 career wins and continues to build on that total. We are grateful for his faithful leadership and dedication to our athletes.

  • WLHS Fall Family Fun Festival - Saturday, October 18

    Get ready for an afternoon of autumn excitement at the WLHS Fall Family Fun Festival on Saturday, October 18, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. Families with kids in 5th grade and younger are invited to an afternoon filled with fun games, creative fall crafts, and plenty of seasonal cheer. UPDATE: activities will be held inside the WLHS main gymnasium due to forecasted inclement weather. Guests should enter through the visitors entrance from the school parking lot and be ready for fun! Admission is just $5 per child, and tickets can be purchased ahead of time here or at the gate. Yummy treats will also be available for purchase.

  • New Athletic Ticketing Platform - Bound

    WLHS is excited to announce that all athletic event tickets will now be available through Bound!

    For Fans:
    • Purchase single-game tickets or save with a ticket pack. A ticket pack has 10 game tickets, allows the pass holder up to six entries per event, and are valid for most regular season athletic events hosted by WLHS.
    • Adults 65+ receive free admission to WLHS home athletic events.
    • To get started, visit the Bound ticket link here and choose the ticket option that works best for you.
    For Students:
    • All WLHS students need a ticket to attend home games.

  • Kon II Knueppel ('24) Selected Fourth in NBA Draft

    With the fourth overall pick in the NBA Draft, Wisco alum Kon II Knueppel (‘24) was selected by the Charlotte Hornets. Family, friends, and fans gathered at the WLHS watch party to cheer on our hometown hero as he made history as the first WLHS graduate ever chosen in the NBA Draft.

    2025 Annual Friends of Wisco Golf Outing

    On June 16, Wisco hosted the 35th Annual Friends of Wisco Golf Outing. Slots filled up quickly this year with people eager to play some golf and support Christian education. The day had an exciting start at Ironwood Golf Course when Neil Schliewe hit a hole-in-one! Throughout the course, participants had the chance to play games, purchase raffle tickets, and enjoy the beautiful day.

  • WLHS Survey for Engineer Professionals

    In an effort to revitalize and build a vision for its Project Lead the Way program, Wisconsin Lutheran High School is looking for feedback from alumni and friend professionals in the engineering field. A goal of this survey is to create a network of WELS engineers. Click here to take the survey. Responses will be collected through Friday, May 2. The survey will take about 8-10 minutes to complete and requires an opt-in for future communication and commitments.

    Wisconsin Lutheran High School presents its annual Prism concerts on Friday and Saturday, May 16 and 17, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 18, at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. These popular concerts are a celebration of the fine arts at Wisco and sell out quickly. Tickets go on sale here beginning Monday, April 28 at 10:00 a.m.

    Everyone is invited to the Friends of Wisco Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 16, at Ironwood Golf Course, in Sussex, Wis. Cost is $175 per person with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. Includes: green fees, golf cart, lunch and dinner, and two drink tickets.     Steve and Beth founded Salty Earth Pictures in 2003 and have since produced nine feature films and two documentaries. Their latest film, One by One, tells the true story of Pastor David Rosenau, a former undercover detective led by God into ministry.     WLHS alumna Kate (Koepke) Wood ('08) traveled to Kenya with a team of volunteers and the Central Africa Medical Mission to support a short-term medical camp. Partnering with Karima Lutheran Church, they not only provided medical care to nearly 2,000 patients but also shared the gospel message with the local community.   • Alumni Highlight: Lisa Joplin ('81)

    WLHS alumna Lisa (Johnson) Joplin ('81) was recognized in the MIlwaukee Journal Sentinel for being a leader—on the basketball court, in law enforcement, and now in her own business. A former standout player at Wisconsin Lutheran High School and Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Lisa went on to serve as a Milwaukee police officer for 25 years before retiring to pursue her passion for hairstyling. Today, she runs a shop that has become more than just a salon; it’s a refuge for Marquette basketball players, including her son, David, where they can relax, recharge, and get the perfect look before game day. The night was filled with creativity, laughter, and reconnection as guests stained, painted, and assembled their timepieces.
