Jr. Vikings Strings

Open to students in grades 3-8

• 26 private lessons per year
• First year and new students: 4 week ensemble session each semester
• Second year and returning students (or by director approval): 8 week orchestra session each semester

• 30 minute lessons and group/orchestra sessions: $750/year
• 45 minute lessons (existing students only) and orchestra/group sessions: $1100/year
• 60 minute lessons and group/orchestra sessions (existing students only): $1400/year
• Group only (students must have an outside private teacher):
  • Younger/beginning students: $100/year
  • Orchestra students: $200/year

There is no option for lessons without group/orchestra classes. They are included in the tuition cost whether students participate or not, similar to the band program.

Students must procure their own instrument. If needed, WLHS works with White House of Music and Brass Bell to give families convenient rental options.
