Parents & New Students Information Meeting

Families will have the opportunity to meet school administrators, counselors, teachers, staff, and members of the WLHS Board of Directors; learn more about the upcoming school year; ask questions; and explore programs and opportunities at Wisco.

To help balance attendance, families with students whose last names begin with A–K are encouraged to attend on August 12, and L–Z on August 13. Families may attend the evening that works best for their schedule.

New students may pick up their Chromebook, have their student ID photo taken, and scan their fingerprint for the school meal service. Student ID cards will be distributed after yearbook photos are taken during the first week of school.

6:00–6:30 p.m. | Organization Fair
Explore athletics and co-curricular activities, Taher Food Services, calculator rentals, free and reduced lunch information, locker shelves, logo wear, and more. Limited printed copies of the Student Handbook, worship theme, and Student Services information will be available in the atrium.

6:30–7:15 p.m. | Welcome Presentation
Join Principal Landon Zacharyasz, Assistant Principals Bret Hopf and C.L. Whiteside, and Director of Student Services Grey Davis in the auditorium for an overview of the WLHS mission, statement of beliefs, handbook highlights, daily schedule, grading, Academic & Career Planning, and more.

7:15–8:00 p.m. | Homeroom Visits and Organization Fair
Visit your student’s homeroom, receive locker information, learn about onCampus and Flex, and continue exploring the Organization Fair.
