Robotics Camp
Registration opens Monday, February 16 for Viking Explorer Summer Camps.
For Coed Students Entering Grades 5-9 (all sessions are identical)
Students in this program will learn how to build and program a robot to compete in a game similar to those used in a high school competition. Participants will learn how to mount motors and servos to run a vehicle.
Session 1: June 15-19 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Session 2: June 22-26 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Session 3: July 13-17 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Cost is $80 and includes a t-shirt.

Note:
Each session of this camp will be limited to 12 students, due to limits on building materials.
Students meet at WLHS in room 180 (Engineering Classroom) each day.

Staff
Mr. Tim Thierfelder has led the Wisco robotics team for the
past 13 years. Under his leadership, the Wisco robotics team won the 2009 and 2011 Wisconsin State FIRST TECH Challenge Championship and has competed at the FTC World Championships in Atlanta and St. Louis. In 2017, the team finished 2nd in the state in programming. Mr. Thierfelder teaches math and Computer Science Engineering at WLHS.
