There will be several virtual meetings available for students coming up in the next few months offered through Go Wisconsin. Please click below to access information and register for these events.
1. On August 1, the Universities of Wisconsin Application and the Direct Admit Form will officially open for the Fall 2027 term. To support students throughout the application and Direct Admit Form process, the Go Wisconsin team will be available on Saturday, August 1 from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. Students are encouraged to reach out with any questions by calling (800) 442-6459 or sending an email to contact@go.wisconsin.edu.
2. Beginning August 1, the Universities of Wisconsin will be emailing and mailing admission letters to eligible students. The Direct Admit Form Portal will also be available August 1 for students participating in the Direct Admit Wisconsin to submit Direct Admit forms: apply.wisconsin.edu/direct-admit

This webinar will walk through the Universities of Wisconsin Admission Pathway Portal, how to locate Direct Admit offers of admission, and demonstrate how students can submit their Direct Admit forms.

3. Register for a a live walkthrough of the Universities of Wisconsin Admission Pathway Portal to apply for Fall 2026 term as a first-year applicant. Learn how to create an account, fill out the application for admission, and more. Registration is required. Please share with your students!
4. The 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is now available to all students! Please encourage your students to complete their FAFSA form as soon as possible to ensure they have access to as much financial aid as possible! College Goal Wisconsin provides free information and assistance to families completing the FAFSA. College Goal Wisconsin is offering both in-person and virtual FAFSA Completion Events. To register for a FAFSA Completion Event or to request additional information, please refer to collegegoalwi.org.
5. On April 20, 2026, the Universities of Wisconsin extended the suspension of ACT/SAT requirements for first-year admission through Summer 2028 term.
6. All UW universities offer scholarships to incoming students. Some are automatically awarded based on academic profile, while others are awarded based on a scholarship application review. Many scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Encourage students to research available opportunities, meet deadlines, and apply to every scholarship they qualify for. Don’t let scholarship opportunities pass by!
Effective August 1, 2024, the Universities of Wisconsin Application will be no-cost for most Universities of Wisconsin for students applying for undergraduate admission. The following UWs will continue to charge an application fee: UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, and UW-Madison.
Students will continue to be able to self-report a need for a financial needs-based waiver directly in the Universities of Wisconsin Application to waive any application fees.
