All seniors will participate in the annual Reality Store on Tuesday, March 17, under the direction of Business Department Coordinator Jason Goede. This interactive event helps students practice managing their God-given finances by learning how to spend, share, and save responsibly.
This is a required school day for seniors, and students will be dismissed at 1:00 p.m. A limited grab-and-go breakfast will be available until 8:00 a.m. Seniors received an email with details outlining the schedule for the day and their assigned start time.
During the Reality Store, volunteers guide students through a simulated month of adult financial responsibilities, including paying bills and navigating unexpected expenses such as car repairs or medical costs. The experience provides valuable lessons in financial literacy and real-world decision-making.
Seniors will also take their cap and gown photos that day for the summer issue of the WLHS Contact magazine. Photos may be purchased using the ordering link sent to senior parents by InFocus Photography or click here.
