Seniors Experience Real Life Budgeting at Reality Store
WLHS seniors gained valuable financial insights during the annual Reality Store on March 17. After receiving an assigned life scenario—including factors such as marital status, children, and debt—along with a “paycheck” based on their hoped-for career, students visited various stations to build a monthly budget. Along the way, students encountered realistic expenses such as car repairs, medical bills, and childcare, giving them a firsthand look at the financial decisions many adults face.
The Reality Store helps students practice being wise stewards of the resources God provides. Thank you to the many volunteers who helped make this meaningful learning experience possible for our students!
