WELS Calls Update
The following is an update on the calls that were extended at WLHS:
- Mr. Santiago Botero returned our call for the school counselor position.
- The WLHS Board of Directors extended a call to Ms. Da'Sha Wilbern ('11) to serve in our FACE department. Ms. Wilbern currently teaches at St. Marcus Lutheran School. She has accepted the call.
- At the request of the WLHS Board, the Conference of Presidents assigned Ms. Tena Schmidt to serve as our new Dean of Residential Life. She is a second-career staff ministry candidate from Martin Luther College. Mr. Doug Carter will remain at WLHS through June to ensure a smooth transition and allow time for her to connect with our students and staff. Ms. Schmidt will begin on May 1.
We are thankful to have Ms. Wilbern and Ms. Schmidt join our ministry at Wisconsin Lutheran High School.
