Vikings Capture Historic State 3-Peat

The WLHS Boys Basketball Team made history by capturing their third consecutive WIAA State Championship, defeating Madison Memorial 57–37 at the Kohl Center to complete a perfect 30–0 season.

After a tightly contested first half, the Vikings took control with a dominant second-half run, showcasing their strength, teamwork, and determination. Zavier Zens ('26) led all scorers with 20 points, while Kager Knueppel ('27) added 16 points and seven rebounds.

This marks Wisco’s fifth state championship and places the program among an elite group to achieve a state 3-peat. We thank God for the many blessings throughout this incredible season and congratulate our players, Coach Walz ('92), Coach Whiteside ('06), and families on this outstanding accomplishment.
