2026 International & Domestic Mission Trips Share the Gospel
Mission trips provide Wisco students with unique opportunities to share their faith through gospel outreach both across the country and around the world. Working alongside local congregations and missionaries, students participate in ministries such as Vacation Bible School (VBS), sports camps, community service projects, and other outreach efforts. These experiences allow students to grow in their faith while sharing the love of Christ with others and supporting mission work in a variety of settings. Several of our mission teams are in the field now or have recently returned.
Colorado Springs, Colorado - Led by Mr. Ben Carlovsky, students partnered with Foundation Lutheran Church for a week of service, fellowship, and outreach. Students assisted with a youth soccer camp that welcomed a record number of participants, serving more than 70 children each day. In addition to the soccer camp, the team supported the congregation through facility projects, event preparation, and a community ice cream social.
Braganca Paulista, Brazil - Rev. Dr. Ken Fisher and Ms. Gina Radue ('12) led a group of students to our sister school in Brazil. WLHS students will teach English to children at a summer camp as well as witness their faith at the school and in surrounding locations.
Chiang Mai, Thailand - Led by Mr. Nate King and Ms. Claire Leverence ('19), students assisted Promise Lutheran Church with outreach by teaching English in two local schools. They interacted with fellow believers in a cross-cultural setting and learned more about the Asia Oceanic Team, Kingdom Workers, Asia Lutheran Seminary, and Friends Network, our local mission partners. They also toured Thai Village, a christian outreach organization in Chiang Mai.
Las Vegas, Nevada - Led by Mr. Jason Nickels, students partered with Pastor Mueller and Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, a mission minded congregation, to assist with leading a Vacation Bible School. They canvassed the local neighborhood and invited families to Beautiful Savior's growing preschool program. Students also had a chance to climb Cathedral Rock and attend a minor league baseball game.
