Gridiron & Gratitude: Remembering 9/11 and Honoring Our First Responders
First responders, RSVP here to join Wisconsin Lutheran High School at Zeitler Stadium on Friday, September 11 at 5:45 p.m., for a special evening of remembrance, gratitude, and Vikings football. As our nation marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, WLHS will recognize the police officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and other first responders who serve our communities each day. All active and retired first responders and one guest will receive free admission to the game, enjoy a complimentary pregame reception, and be recognized during halftime.
Evening Schedule:
- 5:45–6:45 p.m.: Pregame reception for registered first responders and their guests, including food and beverages
- 7:00 p.m.: Kickoff—Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings vs. Hartford Orioles
- Approximately 7:45 p.m.: Halftime recognition of first responders and a performance by the WLHS Marching Band
Community members are warmly invited to attend and help us remember the past, honor those who serve, and unite in gratitude. Come for the remembrance, stay for the football, and join us in thanking our first responders. Go Vikings!
