Vote Deacon Vierck for Bound Wisconsin Football Player of the Week!
What a Homecoming night it was for the Vikings! Wisconsin Lutheran handed previously unbeaten and Division 2 second-ranked Homestead its first loss of the season with a thrilling 36–35 overtime victory. Senior Deacon Vierck played a huge role in the win, rushing for 187 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries, while also adding a two-point conversion. In overtime, Deacon scored on a four-yard run on Wisco’s first possession before the Vikings came up with the stop they needed to preserve the victory.
