With an increase in toilet papering (TPing) around our school community, we encourage parents to take a moment to talk with their students about making responsible choices and respecting others' property. What may begin as harmless fun can quickly escalate, especially when students feel the need to outdo one another with each new house they target. This growing competition can lead to unintended consequences, including property damage, safety concerns, and situations that go beyond good-natured fun.
We ask parents to be aware of their students' activities, particularly in the evenings, and to have conversations about appropriate boundaries and respect for neighbors' property. Additionally, while these activities may be taking place outside of school, if the resulting conflicts carry over into the school building, students involved could lose school privileges and face disciplinary consequences.
Let's work together to encourage our students to make wise decisions, show consideration for others, and represent Wisco in a positive way—even when they're away from campus.
