Izabella Riebe ('26) Earns 100th Varsity Win
The WLHS girls wrestling team had a strong showing last Friday at the Wausau West Tournament, finishing 10th out of 72 teams in a highly competitive field. Leading the way was Izabella Riebe (‘26), who captured a championship after winning every match by pin—and in the process, Izabella celebrated a major milestone with her 100th varsity win. Congratulations, Izabella!
Izabella’s continued success is the result of years of hard work and consistency at the highest level. A multi-time state qualifier, Izabella has earned top finishes at the WIAA State Tournament throughout her career and has been recognized by conference coaches as the Woodland Conference Female Wrestler of the Year in back-to-back seasons.
