Junior Vikings FBLA Celebrates Inaugural Year Success
The Junior Vikings Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), officially named the Wisconsin Lutheran Area Middle School team, recently competed in their first South Regional Conference at West Bend High School under the leadership of Wisco FBLA Advisor Mrs. Shakirah Cousins. In their inaugural year, students entered five events—three tests and two presentations—and earned medals in four of them.
Individual honors included:
- Anna Totsky: 5th Place - Exploring Accounting & Finance (St. John’s, Wauwatosa)
- Eva Rentas: 1st Place - Exploring Technology; 4th Place - Exploring Customer Service (St. Paul’s, Muskego)
- Piper Brandt: 1st Place - Exploring Marketing Concepts (St. John’s, Milwaukee)
Students now have the opportunity to advance to the Middle School State Leadership Conference in the Wisconsin Dells. Congratulations to these students on an outstanding first year and strong representation of the Junior Vikings FBLA program. We look forward to having them join our WLHS FBLA team in the near future!
