Vision Care Support for Families: The Wisconsin Project

The Wisconsin Project, run by the Wisconsin Optometric Association, provides free comprehensive eye exams for children age 18 and under from low-income, working families who do not have insurance covering vision or eye health care. Applications are accepted year-round, and approved families receive information to schedule an exam directly with a participating local optometrist. Availability may vary by area since services are provided by volunteer doctors. For more information or to apply, visit the program website here or contact school counselor Mrs. Katie Chavez at katie.chavez@wlhs.org.
