Wisco Students Serve at St. John's Culture Day

On February 13, theology department coordinator Ben Carlovsky led 27 WLHS students to serve at Culture Day at St. John’s Lutheran School in Milwaukee. The celebration highlights ethnic diversity while reminding students that, though we come from many backgrounds, we are united as one body in Christ.

The day was filled with vibrant expressions of culture as students and families shared traditional foods, stories, dance, games, crafts, and guest speakers. Our students helped younger children rotate through activities, encouraged participation, and joined in the joyful celebration. The event was organized by WLHS alum and St. John’s teacher Mrs. Betsy Carlovsky ('00).
We thank St. John’s for the opportunity to serve and celebrate the gifts God has given to people from every nation and culture.
