Students in Fashion Tech 2 and 3 spent the past week putting their sewing skills to meaningful use by creating Port Pillows for charity. These small, specially designed pillows help cushion a seat belt from rubbing against a cancer patient’s medication port, offering added comfort during treatment and travel. In total, students made more than two dozen pillows, which were donated to the American Cancer Society through the charitable arm of MadamSew.

We are proud of our students for using their talents to serve others and make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing cancer.
