Esports Winter Season Wrap-Up

WLHS Esports teams wrapped up a strong winter season competing in the Wisconsin High School Esports Association (WIHSEA). The Rocket League team of Julian Baer ('27), Noah Siekert ('27), Logan Trissel ('29), and Andrew Mersberger ('29) finished with a 4–3 record and advanced to the state quarterfinals. The Marvel Rivals team—Kelvin Hernandez ('26), Noah Mason ('28), Daniel Tremaine ('27), Leon Steinbrenner ('26), Alexander Oo ('28), Jack Greggs ('29), Chase Wetzel ('28), Diego Rodriguez ('27), and Cole Wetzel ('28)—posted an impressive 6–1 record and competed in the in-person state championships, finishing in the state semifinals.

Individually, Aden Iles ('28) had an outstanding performance in Mario Kart Time Trials, placing 4th out of more than 80 racers before winning the final playoff to earn the Club Championship title.
