Summer continues to be filled with learning, creativity, and fun as Viking Summer Explorer Camps welcome grade school students to campus for a variety of hands-on experiences. Recent camps highlighted the diverse opportunities available at WLHS.
Volleyball campers in grades 1–8 developed their skills, teamwork, and confidence on the court.
Students in Steelband Camp explored the unique musical traditions of Trinidad and Tobago, learning how steel pans are built, tuned, and performed before showcasing their talents in a concert for family and friends.
Robotics Camp participants spent the week learning coding, engineering, and problem-solving as they programmed robots to complete a variety of challenges.
Campers also enjoyed Show Choir Camp, where they developed their singing, dancing, and performance skills while experiencing the excitement of musical theater and show choir.
With many more camps still to come, Viking Explorer Camps continue to provide opportunities for students to discover new interests, build friendships, and experience life at WLHS.
