New Student Orientation Day - Friday, August 14
New Student Orientation Day will be held on Friday, August 14, and is a required school day for all students who are new to WLHS, grades 9–12.
The day begins promptly at 7:45 a.m. and concludes at 12:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 a.m., and students are encouraged to arrive early.
Throughout the morning, students will:
- Follow a shortened class schedule with 15-minute classes
- Attend class meetings in the auditorium and hear important information from teachers and administrators
- Tour the cafeteria and learn lunch procedures
- Enjoy lunch with their teachers
- Have their student yearbook photo taken
Lunch will be provided at no cost and includes a chicken sandwich, fries, fruit, vegetable, and milk. Yearbook photos will also be available for purchase. Click here for photo information.
