WLHS Mission Trips Shared Christ's Love Across Borders
This summer, WLHS students put their faith into action through mission trips that connected them with fellow Christians and communities in Toronto, Canada and Kenya, Africa.
In Toronto, seven WLHS students partnered with Kingdom Prep Lutheran High School and Michigan Lutheran Seminary to support Hope Lutheran Church’s annual Music Camp. They served approximately 80 children through Bible lessons, music, games and skits, helped lead Sunday worship and formed meaningful connections with the congregation.
In Kenya, ten WLHS students visited local schools to teach Bible lessons, lead songs and create crafts. They also worshiped with and built lasting relationships at Umoja Lutheran Church. Through both mission trips, students strengthened their faith, served others and shared Christ’s love across borders.
