Our Hands for His Service 2026-27 Mission Projects
WLHS is excited to introduce this year’s Our Hands for His Service (OHFHS) mission projects, a year-long opportunity for our school family to support Gospel-centered ministry both across the world in Nepal and right here in Milwaukee.
Churches in Nepal
In Nepal, churches face unique challenges in gathering for worship and sharing Christian materials. Because printed religious materials can be restricted, electronic resources provide an important way for congregations to worship, teach, and share God’s Word. OHFHS funds will help provide screens for churches to display worship materials and Sunday school lessons, with the goal of expanding access to Christian teaching in multiple languages.

Lighthouse Youth Center – Milwaukee
Closer to home, OHFHS will support Lighthouse Youth Center, whose mission is “to be a beacon for Christ to the youth of the community.” Lighthouse provides mentorship, faith development, academic support, recreation, and life-skills programming for young people in Milwaukee. Funds will help update the Havenwood campus with improvements such as new flooring, painting, window treatments, bathrooms, and other facility needs. This project also gives WLHS students opportunities to serve locally and see firsthand the impact of their support.

Through OHFHS, our students and school community have the opportunity to serve our neighbors both near and far, support ministries that share the Gospel, and put faith into action. We pray that God will use these gifts to bless His work in Nepal, Milwaukee, and beyond.
