English Excellence Summer Camp Welcomes the World
As the English Excellence Summer Camp comes to a close, we thank God for another incredible summer of learning, adventure, and new friendships. This year, WLHS welcomed 44 students, ages 12–17, from eight countries for an immersive 18-day experience filled with English instruction, American culture, and meaningful connections with their "Wisco Friends."
Beyond the classroom, campers enjoyed daily adventures throughout southeastern Wisconsin and beyond, including trips to downtown Chicago, Six Flags Great America, Wisconsin Dells, local attractions, museums, and parks. These experiences gave students countless opportunities to practice English, build confidence, and create lasting memories together. Campers also shared their home cultures with the Wisco community during Cultural Exchange Night and enjoyed a special outdoor showing of The Super Mario Bros. Movie at Zeitler Stadium.
We are especially excited that two campers—one from Bolivia and one from Thailand—will return this fall as full-time members of the Wisco family! As our campers prepare to return home, please pray for safe travels, that the friendships and lessons of this summer will have a lasting impact, and that God will continue to open doors for meaningful relationships and opportunities to share the good news.
